GATE 2013 have many takers.Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India examination that primarily tests a comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and technology.
GATE is conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven IITs (IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee) on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD).
Since last couple of years, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), who earlier used to conduct their own Written Exams for shortlisting candidates for recruitment as Engineer Trainees/ Graduate Engineer Trainees / Executive Trainees have decided to use GATE 2013 scores for shortlisting candidates for further selection process.
It is Win Win situation for both the PSUs and Job Aspirants. Now they just need to perform well in the GATE 2013 Written Test and if their scores are good, then they stand a good change to get a good job in PSUs like BHEL, GAIL, BEL, IOCL, BPCL, HPCL and others
