Corporation Bank Clerical Interview 
Corporation Bank, which is a Mangalore based public sector bank, will be recruiting 1550 clerks deputed as single window operators for recruitment in their branches across India. It has already published Corporation Bank Clerks Recruitment Notification 2012-13. The various public sector banks are following a different set of selection process through common examinations in comparison to individual examinations held last year. The online registration procedure for 1550 clerks in Corporation Bank ended on June 26. As per the notification, graduates with a minimum of 40 percent marks were invited for submitting their applications. Also, minimum TWS marks were clearly mentioned for each state and category.
Based on the number of applications and vacancies, the cutoffs are set so that only those with high scores will be called upon. The document which has been issued by the Corporation Bank displays the roll number of the shortlisted candidates that can be downloaded from their official website. The call letters for interview will be sent by e-mail and SMS. If one does not receive the call letter until 5 days before the date of interview, he/she can mail the

From August 3, the personal interview will begin at a center that will be found common to certain examination centers. United Bank of India Clerical Interview

The United Bank of India has issued their plan for interviews to the clerical cadre. Back in June, 2012, the United Bank of India advertised their vacancies for 751 clerical posts and applications were invited from IBPS clerical CWE scorecard holders who matched the eligibility criteria like minimum TWS scores. 
How many shortlisted for interview ?
A total number of 4906 candidates across all states and categories have been shortlisted for interview and the complete list of registration number can be seen from the bank’s official website. In their original notification, the United Bank of India mentioned of calling upon those who have sufficient high IBPS score in the ratio of 1:5.
How I will get informed if I'm shortlisted ?
E-mails and SMS have already been sent by the United Bank to the shortlisted candidates for making them aware of their selection before uploading the list on their official website. The chosen candidates, since, would have known about their status by now, can log on to United Bank of India for downloading call letters. The bank has also uploaded cutoff list for certain states so that it can be downloaded by the applicants in case they want to know what went wrong in their selection.
The United Bank of India has declared that the interviews will be held from August 6 onwards in the major cities. The list having the interview center, address and time will be printed in the call letters too. To enter the final merit list, one has to secure a minimum of 40 percent (35 percent for the reserved category). This will be combined with one’s CWE score for arriving at the final cutoff. Based on the number of vacancies, those who rank high in merit shall be recruited to the clerical post in the United Bank of India.

Baroda Manipal School of Banking 2012-2013 Online Test Result

Baroda Manipal School of Banking 2012-2013 entrance examination result has been announced finally. This is an entrance test for admissions into Postgraduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF) that is offered jointly by Bank of Baroda and Manipal University via Baroda Manipal School of Banking. The Bank of Baroda has declared the list of candidates who have been found suitable to attend the second stage of selections for entering the Baroda Manipal School of Banking. It begun in 2011 and the initiative was taken by Bank of Baroda together with Manipal University for training graduates in banking sector and finally recruit them as officer in Bank of Baroda.

In the month of June, 2012, the 2012-13 batches for Baroda Manipal School of Banking PO training cum recruitment plan was issued by Bank of Baroda. Online application started that was followed by an online test held in July. In case a candidate has qualified in the IBPS PO examination but have been incapable of getting interview calls, the Baroda Manipal School of Banking can be the best choice if his/her name features in the list. Provisions have been made by Bank of Baroda where one can see the marks obtained online. This facility can also be utilized by appliers whose number isn’t there in the list.

One has to open the internet and visit BoB Manipal websites and enter the Baroda Manipal School of Banking registration number and date of birth to see the marks obtained. The shortlisted candidates have to sit for a group discussion followed by an interview, as part of the selection procedure. Both the rounds are expected to be held on the same day. The first batch (240 candidates) for 2012-13 is supposed to be admitted by the end of August or by the first week of September. A total of four intakes will be done by Baroda Manipal School of Banking for the current year. From the same final merit list, three more batches will be admitted, one batch every 3 months.

Based on the final score, admissions will commence. Notifications regarding venue and dates for GD to the successful candidates shall be sent via SMS or e-mail as per the official release of Bank of Baroda.

Bank of India Clerks Recruitment Result 
The final result for the recruitment of 3149 candidates for the clerical post has been declared by the Bank of India (BOI) on 28 July, 2012. The result has been announced on the basis of marks that the candidates have procured in the Common Written Examination (CWE) followed by the personal interview. By the end of May, the total number of candidates that were short listed for the interview round by the bank was 12,200 although the advertisement was published in March. These 12,200 candidates were short listed on the basis of state-wise TWS cutoff marks.
The personal interview had a total of 100 marks out of which the candidate has to score a minimum of 50 percent (45 percent for the reserved category) to qualify for the final selection. The appointment of candidates is done on the basis of a state-wise and category-wise merit list that rates a candidate based on the total marks procured in the Common Written Examination (CWE) and personal interview.
Out of the total 3149 clerical vacancies notified, 3129 candidates have been selected provisionally. The Bank of India (BOI) took about 5 months to finish the recruitment process. The offer letters will soon be handed over to the selected candidates by the bank within the next 20 working days from the respective Zonal Offices. On getting the offer letter receipt, the candidate has to go to their specified centers for filling-in the pre-recruitment formalities as well as the medical examination. The final joining of these candidates shall depend on conformity with the eligibility criteria and also successful closing of pre-recruitment formalities.

Bank of Baroda Clerks Recruitment Result
Bank of Baroda, which is one of the largest public sector banks, has finally declared its clerk recruitment results 2012. This bank has several branches across India. It has taken approximately 2 months to complete its recruitment process. This can be considered really a fast affair as some of the other banks have just begun their interview rounds. According to the initial notice issued by the Bank of Baroda, 2000 clerks were declared to be recruited and offered application submission two times. The application was at first meant for the graduates and later it was opened for the +2 pass outs to.

Personal interviews were held by the bank in the month of July, 2012 for the shortlisted candidates as per 1:4 and 1:5 ratios. Bank of Baroda also declared their cutoff marks then. The recruitment procedure that started off in the first week continued till the mid of July. Within a span of one month, Bank of Baroda has settled down for appointments. The minimum qualifying marks that was needed for passing the personal interview round was 40 percent (35 percent for the reserved category). The details regarding reporting date, medical test, and joining formalities will be notified to the appointees through SMS and e-mail.

Those who have not been selected entails that they have not been able to score the desired marks in the personal interview or the final score which is a combination of CWE TWS and interview marks may have been insufficient. A facility will be provided to view the cutoffs and marks obtained on the official website of Bank of Baroda on August 10. Though there has been nothing like bond agreement declared by Bank of Baroda but the recruited candidates has to be in probation for 6 months duration.

Andhra Bank Clerk Interviews on 6th August, 2012
The Andhra Bank issued advertisements in April-May, 2012 that it will be recruiting 600 candidates in 2012 across the various Indian states. Initially only graduates were asked to submit their applications. But later on 10 + 2 pass out candidates were also invited for application submission for the post. The IBPS clerk common exam qualified candidates were even given invitations for applying online. Other than the minimum sectional cutoff marks which are 24 for general category and 21 for other categories, the Andhra Bank also fixed a state-wise TWS score. As the vacancies are to be filled state-wise, the list also has names of shortlisted candidates as per the state they have applied for.
Since the head office of Andhra Bank is in Andhra Pradesh, a little over 2600 candidates from this state have been chosen by the bank alone for interviews which has a total of 177 vacancies. The Andhra Bank will be holding interviews for recruitment of 600 candidates for clerical post from August 6, 2012 at its designated centers. It is supposed to be held from 6th to 9th of August at two different sessions, one at 9 am and then at 2 pm. It is impossible to know the marks scored as the cutoff marks taken by Andhra Bank for shortlisting purpose has not been disclosed.
The total number of candidates who will be appearing for personal interview is high though but the bank will be selecting those who have obtained high marks in both the written examination and personal interview. The interview round has a total of 35 marks out of which one has to score a minimum of 40 percent (general/OBC category) and 35 percent (SC/ST?PWD) to qualify and move ahead for the final merit list. One need to be proficient in local language of the state he/she belongs to as questions might be based on that too for accessing one’s communication skills.
